This Fleurie from Jean-Paul Brun, will seduce the crus du Beaujolais enthusiast. Bursting with ripe field berry scents, with fresh acidity, good balance and lingering flavours. As with most J-P Brun wines, this solid effort displays good structure and length, which makes it a great candidate for short term cellaring (3 to 5 years). Surprisingly this typical Languedoc-Roussillon blend (50% Syrah, 25% Mourvèdre, 15% Grenache and 10% Carignan) is reminiscent of a high quality cru from Beaujolais!
