Deeply coloured, rich and surprisingly elegant, this superb Douro red exhibits perfectly ripe charming flavours. From the much lesser known Sousao grape (100%), the lovely nose exudes ripe berry scents with floral and mineral hints. Perfectly balanced with just a kiss of oak, the mouthfeel is very seductive: round, velvety with good volume. Very good aging potential (5 to 8 years). Serve this very enjoyable red with a simply grilled venaison fillet. Enjoy!
