From the Mencia (100%) grape, this seductive rojo is surprisingly reminiscent of an excellent Gamay (cru) from Beaujolais. Youthful colour, medium bodied with good fruit extract, some supple tannins, quite tasty with good length. The charming nose displays spicy berry, animal and floral scents. A lovely, fresh red, crafted in the typical Raul Perez style. Try with veal shank steak and mushrooms, should work perfectly. Enjoy!
