This well priced Bordeaux delivers the goods! A lovely blend of Merlot (85%) and Cabernet Franc (15%) from the reputed Saint-Emilion sub-region. A youthful red that displays some oak with dark plum, field berries and graphite. From the outstanding 2016 vintage, a typical Grand Cru offering fresh acidity, good extract and a firm structure. Well balanced it should evolve favourably (3 to 5 years). A simply grilled New York cut steak will do the trick. Enjoy!
