Errazuriz’s products from the Aconcagua Costa appellation offer great value ! Obviously dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (88%), the contribution of Petit Verdot (7%) and Cabernet Franc (5%) in this lovely blend should not be minimized. The sun soaked nose displays currant berry with some oak and vegetal hints. Some firm tannins are balanced by ripe, round flavours and surprising fresh acidity. Medium bodied with good length, match this charming rojo with simply grilled lamb chops.

In a very ripe and seductive style, this lovely organic rojo, is the result of an odd blend of Grenache, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Graciano. A lovely organic Cahors typically dominated by the Malbec (90%) variety with hints of Merlot (5%) and Tannat (5%). Deeply coloured as expected, with field berry scents, just enough oak and a discreet mineral finish. Lots of firm tannins but surprisingly velvety and soft. Medium bodied, lovely ripe flavours, perfectly balanced, quite flavourful and lengthy. A charming elegant Cahors that offers great value. The 2019 version of this excellent red from Savoie is better balanced and more elegant when compared to the previous (2018) sun soaked vintage. Entirely from the Mondeuse variety, this deep coloured red exhibits lovely berry fruit, enhanced by faint animal scents. Medium bodied, quite flavourful with good length, it might surprise and charm the fan of cool climate Syrah wines. With no added sulfites (natural), this seductive biodynamic red should match perfectly with porcini pasta. Do not hesitate to decant it 40 to 60 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
