From the region of Sardinia, this excellent full flavoured red is from the partnership of reputed oenologist Giacomo Tachis and Tenuta San Guido (Sassicaia). An odd blend dominated by Carignano (60%) plus 10% of each of the following: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah. This deeply coloured rosso exudes field berry aromas with spicy, floral, black licorice and scrubland (garrigue) scents. Displays good volume and length with surprising freshness.
