A prestigious appellation (Pomerol) from a reputed producer/négociant ! Maison Jean-Pierre Moueix owns and manages some of the most sought Châteaux of Bordeaux including the rare, outstanding Petrus ! A blend of some of their reputed domaines, it offers great value. Obviously dominated by Merlot (95%), and from the excellent 2019 vintage, this lovely red seduces with ripe berry flavours, supple tannins and the expected Bordeaux elegance. Dark plums, field berries and typical mineral scents are displayed in this charming nose. Quite flavourful, with good balance and length. Try with simply grilled lamb chops. Enjoy !
