Lugana 2022 Albino Armani
This lovely white is a great occasion to rediscover a forgotten appellation (Lugana) located at the south end of lake Garda. From the misunderstood Turbiana variety, which is linked to Verdicchio and not Trebbiano, its charming fruity nose exudes citrus and apple scents with a slight mineral finish. Quite fresh and flavourful, a hint of residual sugar adds richness and volume without compromising its elegance and balance. Light bodied but surprisingly tasty, it will marry well with simply grilled shrimp with a splash of lime. Enjoy!
