A lovely example of Frappato from the vineyard Terre di Giumara, a dried up ancient rocky riverbed. Deep ruby colour. The nose reveals some ripe cherry enhanced by charming floral hints. Medium bodied, well balanced, and satisfyingly flavourful. Seductive ripe flavours, velvety texture and soft acidity. Reminiscent of certain crus from Beaujolais. Try this well priced rosso with a mushroom pasta. A great match! Enjoy!
